Chubb Accident & Health offers occupational accident insurance for truckers and other commercial drivers not required by law to be covered by workers’ compensation. It’s designed for the transportation carrier seeking high quality occupational injury coverage and flexible plan. Chubb also offers contingent liability insurance for legal defense and reimbursement of workers’ compensation benefits if an owner-operator or contract driver seeks to recover as an employee of the trucking company.

  • Any transportation carrier request for contingent liability requires Chubb to review and approve the existing written owner-operators lease and/or service agreement, and meet Chubb’s minimum occupational accident benefit limit requirements

Limits:

  • Occupational accident combined single limits up to $2 million per person
  • Occupational accident aggregate limit up to $4 million per accident
  • Contingent liability WC reimbursement benefits up to $2 million per person
